Peteetneet Arts Council Presents John Hawker Art

The Peteetneet Arts Council is proud to present a collection of oil paintings by local artist, John Hawker.  The art will be on display during January and February at the Peteetneet Museum.  The museum is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.  This is an exhibit you will not want to miss.

    These paintings are truly wonderful. I appreciate all the work you have done for the Payson Historical Society. I enjoy all the objects that have been donated and cared for in the Museum. I am writing a book about my Pioneer great grand parents, my grand parents and my parents. Alexander Cowan and his wives Jane Mitchell and Elizabeth Raetz, John Mitchell Cowan and Loretta Alice Lewis, Glenn F Cowan and Helen Atkinson. Maybe some of their stories could be included in Payson History. Alexander came to Payson in about 1862 and my bother John Cowan and Marilyn live in Payson to this day.Thank you, Mary Barbara Cowan (Buxton)
